Paris Hilton earned $1 million to party in Cannes
Always ready for a good party (especially one that pays well), Paris Hilton is reported to be raking in a $1 million paycheck to hit the southern France club scene.
The 30-year-old heiress and her 27-year-old sister Nicky, while on an extended Mediterranean vacation together, took to the posh Cannes hotspot Palais nightclub couple of weeks ago, where the leggy siblings had a nice evening enjoying drinks and entertaining the crowd.
According to an X17 source, the pair were each asked to appear at a birthday party in exchange for the massive amount of money.
The insider explained, “Paris and Nicky were flown to Cannes for a sweet 16 party for a Middle Eastern princess. They were paid a hefty price tag of $1 million to show up for one hour. The teenage birthday girl was ecstatic to have Paris there.”

Not keeping any grudges for past “fights”, Lindsay Lohan joined Paris and Nicky Hilton for a night out in Malibu on Friday.
The “Mean Girls” actress and Nicky were side-by-side while Paris walked along solo as the trio partied it up at Gladstone’s Restaurant and Bar.
Once finished at Gladstone’s, the ladies jumped into a limo and headed off to an afterparty at Paris’s Malibu beach house a few miles away.
Going smoothly for the most part, Lindsay took a tumble at some point, of which she tweeted, “Omg, I’m so embarrassed, paparazzi just blinded me with flashes again, as I was walking into dinner.” She added, “They pushed me and I tripped, hurt.”
The day before the ladies were once again together, at Giorgio Baldi.
Paris Hilton storms out of interview, annoyed at Kim Kardashian
Paris Hilton walked out of an interview with Dan Harris from “ABC News” this week.
The “Simple Life” babe seemed annoyed when Harris kept asking her if her “moment had passed” and if she felt overshadowed by Kim Kardashian.
After walking out of the room, Miss Hilton finally agreed to continue the interview. She said, “I’ve been doing this for 15 years now, so it’s been a long time … so just like any other business person or someone in the industry, it’s always important to reinvent yourself and come up with new projects.”
She added, “So many people that are rich do nothing. I like being able to do what I want, to buy whatever I want, and to not ask for permission like some of my other friends who are adults but live like children.”
Regarding “The World According to Paris,” Paris explained, “It’s the character that I developed for The Simple Life. They wanted a character that was an airhead with a baby voice, and so that’s a character that I do, and I had to do it for five seasons. And so sometimes when I’m on camera I’ll revert back to it, just because I’m so used to it because I did it for so long.”

Stepping out for a promotional appearance, Paris Hilton filmed a spot for “Extra” with host Mario Lopez at The Grove in Los Angles few days ago.
The 30-year-old socialite – dressed in a curve-hugging pink dress, large pink necklace and black patent pumps – took time snap a few pictures with onlookers before bumping into on-duty security guard, Patrick Schwarzenegger.
During the interview, Paris opened up about the alarming Fourth of July weekend stalker appearance at her Malibu beach house,of which she said that it’s one of the few times she was actually happy the paparazzi were present, telling Mario, “Even though they’re annoying sometimes, I’m so thankful they were there because who knows, he could have totally walked in.”
Hilton also admitted that her latest stalker run-in has left her feeling a little uneasy, as she confessed, “Yeah I am scared. There are so many crazy people out there. I’m always watching behind my back. Especially when it’s your home and it’s your private space where no one’s supposed to come. You feel really violated.”

Paris Hilton has been dealing quite a lot with crazy fans and yesterday she watched on as a man was arrested outside of her Malibu home.
Previously on probation over an incident at one of the hotel heiress’s homes last October, James Rainford was placed in handcuffs by police as Miss Hilton watched on from her balcony – even taking a few photos of the arrest.
Mr Rainsford’s arrest comes less than a week after a man named Nathan Parada was sentenced to two years in prison for attempting to burglarize Paris.
Prohibited from coming anywhere near Hilton’s abode, Rainford had been sentenced to 227 days in prison in late April for allegedly smacking the socialite/reality star’s then-boyfriend Cy Waits.

She has never been one to spend too much time being single, and it seems Paris Hilton has already moved on from Cy Waits.
According to press, the “Simple Life” lady was recently spotted hitting up the Beacher’s Madhouse in Los Angeles with “Hangover” director Todd Philips.
And one eyewitness tattled that Paris and Todd were quite affectionate with each other, sharing kisses and getting cozy.
At the end of the night, Hilton and Philips hopped into Todd’s car and left the venue together.
Paris Hilton celebrates HTC EVO 3D launch
Kicking off her weekend a bit early, Paris Hilton was spotted at the HTC EVO 3D Launch Party in West Hollywood on Friday night.
The “Simple Life” babe hammed it up with Allison Melnick at the shindig, held at the RadioShack Pop-Up 3D Lounge.
As for her future business aspirations, Paris told press she wants her very own chain of fabulous hotels, just like her great-grandfather.
“The next step for me is to be more involved with real estate. I’d love to open my own hotel and beach clubs. I’m actually in the process right now of doing that, so I’m excited.”
Single Paris Hilton hugging Ex-BFF Nicole Richie at I Heart Ronson
They have had a turbulent past with their on and off friendship, but few days ago Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie looked to have buried the hatchet.
The former “Simple Life” costars ran into each other at the I “Heart” Ronson shindig at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood and acted like the best of friends.
Paris and Nicole gave each other a big hug and chatted away incessantly, oblivious to the paparazzi and fans around them.
An eyewitness told press, “They had a relaxed and friendly chat as Nicky sat beside them. When Nicole made a move to leave, she hugged Paris and high-fived Nicky.”
Using their nicknames, Paris tweeted, “Bill, great seeing you tonight. You looked so beautiful! Love you! Love, Sill.”

Paris Hilton & Cy Waits call it quits?
While they initially seemed ready to leap into wedded life, it seems that the flame has died down for Paris Hilton and Cy Waits.
According to breaking reports, the hotel heiress has parted ways with her beau after having started dating back in Spring 2010.
Of the situation, a source told Us magazine, “They are broken up. It’s sad, she cares about him a lot and thinks he’s a great guy but they really hit a rough patch.”
The insider added, “[Cy's] found it difficult to live his life with her in the spotlight and that’s what caused their split. No drama, it’s amicable, but things didn’t work out.”

Always up for a night on the town, Paris Hilton was spotted leaving The Beverly Nightclub in West Hollywood on Thursday.
The reality TV starlet looked cute in a green and black frock as she walked alongside a gal pal who was adamant about not being photographed by the paparazzi.

Paris Hilton’s new show made a disappointing debut when it aired last night.
The show is called “The World According to Paris” and it airs on the Oxygen channel and according to the ratings, only 409,000 tuned in to watch the hotel heiress in action.
Despite the poor ratings, Paris is still hopeful. “I wanted the show to be as real as possible,” the reality star — who appears alongside mom Kathy Hilton, boyfriend Cy Waits and Charlie Sheen’s ex Brooke Mueller on the series.
She said at the show’s launch party in May. “There’s a lot of things in the show that I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I cannot believe I’m going to allow this on television.’ Years ago I would have been like, ‘No way.’ The ‘BFF’ shows [I did for MTV], were all about being perfect and all that, but life’s not perfect, people have ups and downs…and I want to show that and be relatable to other people. I’m just like anyone else.”

Doing her best to increase interest in her upcoming TV show, Paris Hilton closed out the week with a full day of promotional stops before heading off for a fabulous Memorial Day weekend getaway.
The hotel heiress stepped out on Friday to attend a press event at Kitson in Los Angeles before dropping by the “Tonight Show with Jay Leno” as the evening’s celebrity guest.
During her visit with Jay, Miss Hilton took part in a backstage video session before being driven onstage via motorcycle – as she recently became an owner of a motorsports racing team.
Among the “Tonight Show” topics of conversation, Paris chatted about her new mansion in Beverly Hills, as well as her new series “The World According to Paris” – which debuts on the Oxygen network on June 1st.
She also told a joke about Lindsay Lohan during the appearance, recalling a time in which a homeless lady complimented her earrings. Paris said, “I gave them to her,” before explaining that the woman then mistook her for the troubled “Mean Girls” starlet. To this, Paris said, “If I was Lindsay I’d be stealing the earrings, not giving them away.”
Once finished up with the busy day of press efforts, the 30-year-old ran to LAX Airport for a flight bound for New York City – where she caught a ride to meet up with the family in the Hamptons.
Regarding her traveling schedule, Paris happily tweeted, “On my way to The Hampton’s to spend a relaxing Memorial Day weekend with my family. See you soon @KathyHilton! Love you!”
Paris Hilton’s Bentley smashed by her SUV!
Paris Hilton’s custom pink Bentley is wrecked and this time, it wasn’t doing it.
The heiress let an unidentified friend drive her SUV. He smashed into the “Barbie Bentley” backing out of her driveway. Repairs to fix the bodywork on Hilton’s Continental GT, which she purchased in 2008 for $200,000 as a Christmas gift for herself, cost a $5,000.
Nothing is yet announced with regards to who is going to pay the costs and if the event had any impact on the relationship between the heiress and her friend.

Lindsay Lohan calling Paris Hilton “mean” for her rudeness on TV
A report from earlier in the day showed a clip from Paris Hilton‘s upcoming reality show called The World According to Paris. In the clip, Paris visits a woman’s shelter to show how ‘charitable’ she is.

The homeless woman had no idea who Paris Hilton was, thanked her and called her – get this – Lindsay Lohan! Ooops!!!
The ever feuding celebrities have been on the outs for years, and Princess Paris didn’t appreciate the woman mistaking her for her former friend.
In the voice over, Paris can be heard saying; “If I were Lindsay, I’d be stealing earrings. Not giving them away”.
It looks like the word got out to Lindsay, who reportedly responded with; “[Paris] is mean. You don’t have to make fun of serious matters in people’s lives to be funny.”
Well-done to Lindsay for taking the high-road here. We would really wish the two would quit their fighting.
Paris Hilton’s boyfriend Cy Waits attacked by stalker
A stalker was arrested Wednesday after he attacked Paris Hilton’s boyfriend in front of a Los Angeles courthouse where the hotel heiress was set to testify against another stalker.
Witnesses said James Rainford came up behind Hilton’s boyfriend, Cy Waits, and hit him in the head as he and the former reality TV star were walking hand in hand.
Rainford is the same man busted in October for sneaking onto Paris’ Hollywood property and getting into an altercation with her private security.
He pleaded no contest to civil assault and was put on three years probation.
Witnesses, including a gaggle of reporters following Hilton and Waits into the courthouse, said Rainford was restrained by the socialite’s bodyguards and turned over to cops.
“I’ve already proposed to her and her dad already said ‘Yes,’” Rainford told reporters as cops put him in handcuffs and led him away.
Paris Hilton denies Sarah Shahi accident
Paris Hilton has hit back at Sarah Shahi’s claims that she nearly hit the actress with her car.
The Fairly Legal star recently accused Hilton of reckless driving in Los Angeles, describing her as a “piece of s**t” and the “worst driver ever”.
However, Paris has insisted that she was not driving when the incident took place.
“Paris had just flown in from Las Vegas and was at home with her boyfriend, Cy, at that time. It is a simple case of mistaken identity,” her spokesperson told the New York Daily News.
The reality star also reiterated her innocence to Extra, explaining: “I wasn’t even driving that day. I had just came back from Vegas with my boyfriend and we were at home relaxing.
“I literally came with a driver from the airport [and] went to my house,” she recalled. “Then later on, I read that. Maybe it was some other blond girl who looks like me.”

Socialite Paris Hilton is set to launch a range of skin care products and says she is using top-of-the-line technology to prepare it.
“We’re developing a skin care line. It’s a new product that we’re working on but it’s the top-of-the-line technology. I have been taking really good care of my skin, so I will have products that are amazing for your skin,” she was quoted to have said.
Many celebrities showed up at Coachella Valley Music and Arts festival
The 12th installment of the Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival kicked off on Friday at Empire Polo Fields in Indio, California. This year, the festival presented more than 100 bands over the three days.
Of course, plenty of celebrities were there to take in the music and the booze at the popular musical festival.
Dressed like two hipster/hippies, actress Vanessa Hudgens and new love Josh Hutcherson enjoyed few spirits at the bar, at one point even doing shots. The starlet was there the entire weekend.
Paris Hilton was also there over the weekend — along with Doug Reinhardt. Except he was on the arm of another blond woman. Her sister Nicky and her boyfriend David Katzenberg and one Brandon Davis were enjoying some drinks at the festival.
Usher, in a light pink t-shirt, laughed as he made his way from a beer tent.
Katy Perry looked relaxed with a beer on the second day of the festival.
Lindsay Lohan tried to keep a low profile as she left the first day of the festival. The actress, who recently came out of rehab, was hiding a cigarette in her hand.
Beyonce and her man Jay-Z were there too of course.

Paris Hilton`s mum takes swipes at Kim Kardashian
Paris Hilton’s mum apparently does not think much of the reality TV star’s former friend Kim Kardashian.
Kathy Hilton took a series of alleged swipes at Kim during a night out in New York City, telling friends that Kim ‘used to work for Paris’, according to the New York Post.
‘Kathy was going on about how Paris is the original reality TV star and how all of the others had her to thank for their success,’ an insider told the Post.
‘Kathy said Kim copied everything Paris has done.’
She later told the Post that she had talked about Kim, saying: ‘I love her by the way. Someone said, ‘Didn’t she work for Paris?’ I said ‘Yes, she did before she was on her TV show.’
‘Another person said ‘Paris made a lot happen for us in the reality business.’ I said, ‘It’s true, she was one of the pioneers.”
Representatives for Kim Kardashian have not commented.
