She has the heart of one the most highly-seeked after of all time, and now Justin Bieber-dating Selena Gomez is opening up the love in her life and what romance means at any age.
In an recent interview with Girl’s Life magazine, the cutie gave her opinion on the “L” word, telling, “Love is beautiful. It’s hard but so wonderful.”
Selena added, “You should enjoy it and make sure the person betters you.”
Making sure she listens to the warnings of not moving too fast, Gomez noted, “I’ve been told I keep my heart guarded. My advice is to have fun and to be prepared for anything.”

Selena Gomez is promoting a new movie and a new album, and she headed over to “Fox & Friends” for an interview this morning.
Joined by her uber-famous boyfriend Justin Bieber, the “Wizards of Waverly Place” hottie looked stunning in a purple dress as she fielded questions from the show’s three hosts.
When asked if she prefers music or acting, Selena shared, “I love each for different reasons, but I feel like for longevity reasons, probably acting.”
And with the new album coming out, Gomez felt like she got to put her stamp on it, creatively. “I’m excited because I’m about to be nineteen [years old] so it’s been really fun for me to kind of experiment and have a little more creative control over my records and being able to have a better stage presence.”

Justin Bieber has been working on his new album lately and he has a clear vision for how he wants things to go this time around.
The “Never Say Never” stud told press, “I want to work a lot with myself. And [I want to] write a lot myself. I will be working with a lot of other producers and stuff like that, but I’m just writing a lot, writing on tour.”
Justin continued, “[I'm] writing about how I feel and producing. I’ve been producing on my laptop and on my computer. I’ve been really into it and, hopefully, this next album will be huge.”
“I’ve done a lot on my acoustic guitar, so it’s gonna have that vibe. I’m not gonna really limit myself. I think music is music, and genre — I mean, I know there’s country music, there’s rock music, but my music is different. My voice is not meant for any style. I just want to make music.”
2011 BET Awards: Check out the winners
The 2011 BET Awards were held in Los Angeles last night and everyone was present.
Taking place at the Shrine Auditorium, the big winner of the night was Chris Brown – who garnered three trophies out of his pack-leading six nominations.
Making for quite the awkward situation, there was a mix-up during the announcement of the Viewer’s Choice winner – as Tiffany Greene first named Brown as the winner before then saying Drake and Rihanna were the victors. With Drake accepting the trophy, it was later confirmed that Brown was, indeed, the winner of the fan voted accolade.
Hosted by actor/comedian Kevin Hart, the annual BET event also featured performances by top acts such as Beyonce Knowles, Drake, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne and Mary J Blige, among many others.
Including special tributes to Steve Harvey as the Humanitarian Award Honoree and Patti LaBelle as the Life Achievement Award winner, other BET winners included Nicki Minaj as Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, Kanye West as Best Male Hip-Hop Artist and Wiz Khalifa as Best New Artist.

Justin Bieber attacked outside Macy’s
Going from pandemonium to panic, Justin Bieber was reportedly knocked down to the ground by a man who escaped barricades outside a New York City Macy’s on Thursday afternoon.
Witnesses to the scary incident recall the “Baby” singer exiting the store’s doors before an unidentified man jumped a police barrier and pushed the 17-year-old to the ground.
Bieber, who was at the popular department store to promote his new fragrance, “Someday,” was apparently shaken up but okay after bystanders heard him yelling out, “What? What?”
According to reports, the man was quickly taken into police custody and now sits at a precinct in downtown New York.
Justin Bieber & Chris Brown release “Next 2 You” video
They are both huge pop stars on their own, and Justin Bieber and Chris Brown have joined forces for an amazing new video.
The “Baby” singer and the “Kiss Kiss” hitmaker appear in the brand-spanking-new music video for “Next 2 You,” one of the catchiest songs of the year.
Colin Tilley directed the clip, set in a post-apocalyptic world where Chris and Justin are both looking for the ladies that they love.

The two lovebirds were spotted out in Toronto, Canada on Friday grabbing a bite to eat, playing some pool and sharing an intimate kiss.
And of course as they tween couple left the eatery, their fans came running for them, forcing the Bieber and Gomez to make a fast getaway.
Earlier in the day, Selena was spotted leaving Justin’s house to head back to her hotel and a while later Bieber was busted by photographers when he was caught “digging for gold.”

2011 Billboard Music Awards winners and performers
With another high profile ceremony having come and gone, the winners from the 2011 Billboard Music Awards were announced on Sunday night.
The Ken Jeong hosted event was held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, with Eminem emerging as the big winner upon taking home six trophies including Top Artist.
Other artists enjoying a successful evening included Taylor Swift as Top Billboard 200 Artist, Justin Bieber as Top New Artist (along with a slate of accompanying hardware) and Rihanna as Top Female Artist.
Performers taking the stage during the Billboard Music Awards included Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj, Far East Movement, Mary J Blige and Lil Wayne while Beyonce was feted with the Billboard Millenium Award for her career achievements.

Justin Bieber’s new perfume: Someday
Seeing so much success with his initial venture into the scent market, Justin Bieber is ready to help the ladies smell just right, as well.
The “Never Say Never” star went all out for the gals’ perfume, as it comes in a heart-shaped flower of a top to the removable charms hanging from the neck.
Bieber’s new perfume is called Someday – while the concoction was created by Honorine Blanc of Firmenich, which described the offering as a “fruity gourmand” formula.
Chiming in on his latest venture while touring the world, Justin said, “Let’s be real, the way a girl smells is very important to a guy! I have such a deep connection with my fans, so creating a fragrance that I personally love is another way I can bring them closer to my world.”
With part of the profits going towards Pencils of Promise, which builds schools, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the 17-year-old happily told, “Not only am I able to create a fragrance for all my fans, but I am able to give back to charity, which is a huge priority for me. The people at Give Back Brands really get me, and what I represent and care about.”
Continuing on about working with Honorine Blanc of Firmenich on the ladies fragrance, Bieber dished, “They really let me take the lead on the entire project, because I know my fans better than anyone — from working with the team on the development of the fragrance itself to helping to design the bottle and packaging.”
Set to ship to select stores in June, the fragrance will be offered as an eau de parfum spray ranging in price from $35 for a 1 oz. size to $45 for the 1.7 oz. version to $55 for 3.4 oz.

Justin Bieber may seem like a super hero to some, but he is still human.
And last night, the “Baby” singer was quite sick and had to leave the stage at his concert in the Philippines to vomit several times.
Sources close to Justin said that the teen sensation was sick with some kind of chest infection last week – and when he hit the stage last night in Manila he clearly wasn’t feeling well.
He even tweeted before the show, “Sick as a dog… But the show must go on.” Very brave of him!

As previously reported by GossipCenter, Justin Bieber received less-than-stellar reviews from “CSI” actress Marg Helgenberger regarding his on-set persona.
Having been called a “brat,” the “One Less Lonely Girl” actor took to his official Twitter page to share his own thoughts about the commentary.
Justin tweeted, “It’s kinda lame when someone you met briefly and never worked with comments on you. I will continue to wish them luck and be kind.”
Biebs added, “I know who I am and sometimes people r just going 2 say what they want. Keep ur head up and be the man ur mama raised.”

Eminem has beaten Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber to become the most popular star on Facebook.
The rapper scored over 30 million hits on the social network site finishing nearly 200,000 followers ahead of the ‘Born This Way’ singer.
Rihanna wasn’t far behind with over 26 million followers, while Justin Bieber trailed further with 23 million.
The figure is a huge milestone for Eminem who had only 2.7 million followers on Facebook a year ago.
Justin Bieber’s hair makes $40,000 in eBay charity sale
A lock of Justin Bieber’s hair has been sold for $40,668 (£25,024) in a charity sale on Ebay.
Bieber gave the piece of hair to US talkshow host Ellen Degeneres, having changed his trademark swept style in February.
There were 98 bids in total with bidding for the hair, which came in a signed box, closing on Thursday.
The money raised will be go to a charity which rescues and rehabilitates animals.
The star, whose film Never Say Never was released in February, turned 17 on 1 March.

They’ve been quietly dating since November but have been maintaining a low profile ever since.
But last night, teen sensations Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez finally confirmed their relationship by making their first official red carpet debut at the Vanity Fair Oscar party in Los Angeles.
With their arms wrapped around each other, the young pair stared lovingly into each others’ eyes as they posed for photographers on the red carpet outside the Sunset Tower Hotel.

Justin Bieber reportedly bought every flower in a florist’s shop for Selena Gomez.
The 16-year-old singer phoned a store last Wednesday and asked staff if they could “fill” his rumored girlfriend’s house with bouquets.
According to gossip websites, the shop used every flower in stock and had to use “multiple trucks” to deliver the romantic gift to Selena’s house.
A source close to the couple claims the singer-and-actress was “thrilled” with her gift.
Selena had previously revealed they wouldn’t be spending Valentine’s Day together because of work commitments.
