Jennifer Lopez talks about her split with March Anthony
Jennifer Lopez is featured as the cover girl of the September 2011 Vanity Fair Style Issue and opened up about her split from Marc Anthony for the very first time.
The newly-single singer/actress posed for the magazine in a shoot by Mario Testino, while talking about her breakup, current state of mind and lifelong attachment to Anthony.

On desperately wanting married life to work out:
“That was my biggest dream, and I really worked hard at it. We both did. Sometimes it doesn’t work—and that’s sad. But I remain an eternal optimist about love. I believe in love,” Lopez says. “It’s still my biggest dream. I am positive—determined to move forward with my life, bring up my babies, and do the best job I can as a mother, entertainer, and person. I now look forward to new challenges. I feel strong.”
On what has brought her to her current state of mind:
“I’m a hopeless romantic and passionate person when it comes to love. It’s not that I didn’t love myself before. Sometimes we don’t realize that we are compromising ourselves. To understand that a person is not good for you, or that that person is not treating you in the right way, or that he is not doing the right thing for himself—if I stay, then I am not doing the right thing for me. I love myself enough to walk away from that now.”
On ex-husband Marc Anthony holding a special place in her heart:
“I will always respect Marc as a singer and performer. We actually work great together, and he was always very supportive. Together we could make magic—and we did. He will always be in our lives. He will always hold a special place in my heart as the father of my children.”

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have ended their marriage. After the sudden announcement that their seven year marriage is over, rumors of a new post-Marc Anthony romance for Jennifer Lopez are already emerging.
The “American Idol” judge is speculated to be getting cozy with her Cuban “I’m Into You” music video mate William Levy – who also recently ended his marriage with Mexican actress Elizabeth Gutiérrez.
Upon splitting with Levy, Miss Gutiérrez released a statement reading: “I was always firmly by William’s side, despite the persistent rumors…I had no reason to doubt the strength of our union. I confess that this decision hasn’t been easy but I owe respect to myself as a person, woman and mother.”
Following suit, Lopez and Anthony released a statement on Friday night, which told: “This was a very difficult decision. It is a painful time for all involved. And we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.”
With Jennifer and Marc making the decision just hours before Miss Lopez paid a solo visit to the BAFTA Brits to Watch event to meet Prince William and Kate Middleton, the new reports linking Lopez and Levy seem to be more speculation than fact based – as the two haven’t been photographed together since their steamy Mexico-based “I’m Into You” music video efforts.
Jennifer Lopez launches “Love & Light” fragrance
Jennifer Lopez has been busy recently working on her latest fragrance and she was launching it today in St. Petersburg, Florida.
The “American Idol” star took part in an eight hour special for HSN while trying to increase interest in her new perfume “Love & Light” – which is available exclusively via HSN until it hits Kohl’s store shelves this September.
Talking about the offering, JLo said in a press release, “With Love & Light, I wanted to create a fragrance that was less about the world around you and more about your inner light and your spirit. It’s about how you feel inside, it’s not about your outside world.”
Betsy Olum, general manager of beauty and merchandising strategy at HSN, added, “We know our audience is going to love hearing from her on what influenced the creation of this fragrance.”
As for the pricing, “Love & Light” will retail for $58, with an accompanying shower gel available for $32.
Jennifer Lopez’s “Wetten dass..?” performance
Offering a spectacular performance, Jennifer Lopez took the stage for the “Wetten dass..?” Summer Edition in Palma de Mallorca, Spain on Saturday night.
The “American Idol” judge swapped from a flowing dress into a stylish all-black ensemble as she delved into her hit single “On The Floor”.
Prior to her stage efforts, J.Lo had quite the unfortunate incident, as the windy conditions led to a wardrobe malfunction in which her breast was exposed on live tv.

Making her way around to fulfill promotional duties, Jennifer Lopez was spotted arriving at Radio One Studios in London today.
The “On The Floor” songstress looked lovely in a multi-colored dress and thigh-high boots as she made her way inside while signing autographs for fans along the way.
Awhile later, Lopez stopped by Kiss FM in Central London before hopping into her chauffeured vehicle and heading off for a few more promotional stops.
Meanwhile, during a recent chat with UK press, Jennifer admitted that she will “probably” watch the US version of “The X Factor.”
Despite being a judge on competing show “American Idol,” the 41-year-old told, “You know what, I watch all those shows. I’m a big fan of those type of shows so I’ll probably be watching.”

Jennifer Lopez was back in action at Capital Radio’s Summertime Ball 2011 in London today.
The multi-talented “American Idol” judge made her way to Wembley Stadium as she was the headliner at the annual summertime music extravaganza.
Making for quite the impressive lineup, this year’s Summertime Ball also featured performances by Nicole Scherzinger, Jessie J, LMFAO, Cee-Lo Green and Far East Movement.
Miss Lopez’s efforts come after she spent the previous evening taking the stage on the finale of the popular talent competition “So You Think You Can Dance”.

Jennifer Lopez loses court battle over embarrassing home video
Jennifer Lopez has been battling with her ex-husband, Ojani Noa, for her years about the release of a private home video, but it sounds like she has now lost the fight.
The “Into you” singer will face a huge embarrassment when Noa releases an intimate home video of the former couple, who was married for a brief time.
Apparently, Ojani managed to find a loophole in the law and sold the footage to his current girlfriend, Claudia Vazquez for her to release it on his behalf.
Ed Meyer, the executive producer of the project said, “Claudia Vazquez has been allowed to release the home videos of Ojani and Jennifer. The project will deal with JLo’s rise to fame, and her marriage to Ojani. Claudia will be meeting with video distributors on Tuesday, and hopefully, a deal can be made very soon.”
Jennifer Lopez’s “American Idol” top 5 performance night
Gracing the hit FOX show with her much-awaited performance, Jennifer Lopez was the center of attention during Top 5 night on “American Idol” on Thursday.
The 41-year-old superstar took the stage to perform her new single “On The Floor” while joined by rapper Pitbull, who kicked things off as he worked his way through the audience.
Receiving massive applause, J. Lo rocked a silver-hued two-piece outfit that glistened under the “Idol” lights as she joined alongside eight professional dancers while belting out her hit single.
Once finished up and changed to her regular judging duty garb, Lopez also debuted the video her new single, “I’m Into You,” which features Lil’ Wayne.
As for the contestants, last night’s “Idol” saw contender Jacob Lusk sent packing after his not-so-well received rendition of Chris Brown and Jordin Sparks‘ “No Air”.

Jennifer Lopez named World’s most beautiful woman by People magazine
Jennifer Lopez’s smouldering Latin appeal has been taken into consideration by and People magazine, who have named her the World’s Most Beautiful Woman in their yearly issue.
The American Idol judge is the cover girl in this week’s special double issue and shows that even at 41-years-old she gives women half her age a tough time to compete.
Commenting on her title, JLo said: ‘I feel happy and proud. Proud that I’m not 25!’
But the mother-of-two says that being beautiful is what she is paid to be.
Lopez says everything from looking after her skin, her intensive workout regime and healthy eating plan is all a concerted effort to stay in great shape.
‘The thing is, it’s part of my job’, she says of looking good.
‘I don’t want anybody thinking it’s easy. It does take time and it’s hard work. HDTV wide-screen is nobody’s friend!’ Lopez added.
Jennifer Lopez knocks Adele off the top spot
American Idol judge and pop star Jennifer Lopez has scored her third number one with her comeback single ‘On The Floor’ featuring Pitbull.
This has been Lopez’s first number one single in the UK since her 2005 hit ‘Get Right’, hitting the number one spot for the first time in 2001 with ‘Love Don’t Cost A Thing’.
This is the second time Adele has been knocked off the top spot after ex Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger hit the number one spot with ‘Don’t Hold Your Breath’, only to be put back into second place by the ‘Someone Like You’ singer.
Nicole Scherzinger is currently at number five with her first solo number one single whilst Katy B enters the top ten for the third time with ‘Broken Record’.
Lopez has just finished filming the music video for her new single ‘I’m Into You’ featuring Young Money rapper Lil’ Wayne.

Jennifer Lopez shows off her toned abs
She might be 41 and the mother of two-year-old twins, but Jennifer Lopez proved last night she still has the body of a 20-year-old as she attended the American Idol finalists party in a stomach-baring shirt and tiny shorts.
The singer smiled and waved at photographers while showing off her impressive toned abs in the cropped top, which she teamed with a black and white checked jacket and high-waisted shorts.
Lopez attended the event, held at the The Grove in Los Angeles, shortly after deciding the top 13 on American Idol alongside fellow judges Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler.
Jennifer Lopez dances to stay in shape
The singer-and-actress has reportedly stepped up her workouts since taking on a role as a judge on US TV show American Idol but friends insist she never finds going to the gym a chore.
“Jennifer has amped up her workout routine by running three miles a day, five days a week,” a source said.
“She’s over 40 and looks hotter than ever.”
“But her true love is a dance workout. She has one of her choreographer friends meet her at a studio three times a week, where they put on loud Latin and pop music and dance and sweat for a full hour.

The singer showed off the results of her exercise regime today as she attended the Unicef Women of Compassion Luncheon in Los Angeles.
Jennifer’s black draped jersey top was held together with just a band at the front, showing off her slender frame.
Teamed with a teal green skirt and gold accessories, the outfit also showed off her famous behind.
Joining the mother-of-two at the lunch was her husband, Marc Anthony.
Mary J Blige, Camilla Belle and Paz Vega also attended the event in honour of the children’s charity.
Jennifer, 41, is currently working on the latest season of America Idol, after joining the show with the departure of Simon Cowell.
But she took a break from judging to attend the lunch.
