Britney Spears called “disgusting, drug user” in lawsuit
A former employee of Britney Spears has reported that allegedly the singer did drugs, didn’t shower for days and sexually harassed him, among other things while acting as his boss.
According to RadarOnline and Star magazine, the pop icon’s former bodyguard, Fernando Flores, who worked for the 29-year-old from February to July of 2010, is currently involved in a $10 million lawsuit against Britney, citing “repeated, unwanted sexual advances and harassment,”.
The court documents also claim that Miss Spears enjoyed a strong cocktail of illegal prescription and non-prescription drugs, “Based on his former experience as a police officer, Plaintiff (Flores) is informed and believes and alleged thereon that Defendant Spears was often under the influence of illegal prescription and non-prescription drugs, such as Ritalin, Narcon (Naloxone) and methamphetamines,” the report reads.

Britney Spears Femme Fatale tour in hometown
Treating her hometown fans to a concert to remember, Britney Spears took the stage as her “Femme Fatale” tour rolled into New Orleans on Friday night.
The “I Wanna Go” singer’s entire family watched on from the crowd, with Britney tweeting pre-showtime, “Spent the day catching up with old friends. Pumped for tonight’s hometown show. You ready NOLA? -Britney”
Among the audience members were Miss Spears’ sister, Jamie Lynn, who brought along her young daughter Maddie – who wore a protective headset while being held in the air as Britney sang “Hold It Against Me”.
Also in attendance were aunts and uncles, as well as Britney’s parents, who all sat in a special family-only VIP section in the center of the arena.
Happy with how things went, Britney tweeted upon show’s end, “So fun tonight – it was good to be back! -Brit RT”

She is off to a great start with her Femme Fatale Tour, and last night Britney Spears rolled into Los Angeles for a killer show.
The “Toxic” songstress took the stage in front of a massive crowd after Nicki Minaj warmed things up with an energetic opening set.
Armed with a hit-laden set list, top-notch choreography, and a visually-stunning set, Britney once again knocked it out of the park.
Meanwhile, Miss Spears received quite the video tribute from concert-going celebrity pal Nicole Richie – who tweeted a clip of herself and a guy pal doing a dance-off to “Slave 4 U”.
With the video offering, Miss Richie wrote, “In honor of my queen, @BritneySpears – Can’t wait to dance tonight!”

Celebrating her son Sean Preston’s graduation, Britney Spears was spotted at the ceremony in Los Angeles last Friday.
The “Baby One More Time” songstress donned a grey striped dress teamed with a matching grey cardigan as she headed inside.
Along for the ride were Brit’s boyfriend Jason Trawick, as well as her ex-husband Kevin Federline and his preggers girlfriend Victoria Prince.

Pushing forth with her “Femme Fatale” tour, Britney Spears took the stage for a performance at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California last night.
Dressed in her typical risque ensembles, the 29-year-old pop princess opened things up with a video clip showing her on the run from the law as she then appeared onstage while bursting into her hit single “Hold It Against Me”.
Miss Spears continued along while treating the packed house to tunes including “Drop Dead Beautiful,” “If You Seek Amy” and “Boys” to name a few.
Pleased with the night’s concert, Britney tweeted at show’s end, “My ears are RINGING San Jose! You guys were SO loud! Thanks for all the love. On my way home to LA LA LAND. U ready? -Britney”
Slated to perform a sure-to-be star-studded show at Staples Center on Monday night (June 20), Spears also has announced that she’ll be releasing the music video for “I Wanna Go” this Wednesday, as she posted on her Twitter page, “Shame on me to need release! I-I-I-Wanna-G-O-O-O video comes out June 22nd.”

She has been slammed in the past for lackluster performances, but Britney Spears tour opener in Sacramento last night was spectacular.
The “Toxic” songstress received rave reviews from multiple sources for her show from start to finish, including wardrobe, choreography, and of course the performance itself.
Rolling Stone cheered, “It was her flashiest, fastest moving, and most entertaining production yet. The night belonged to Britney: She managed to prove that she’s still progressing as a showgirl. Not only that, she’s doing it better than even die-hard defenders would’ve predicted.”
Another blogger said, “There are parts of the show where it is very obvious that she is singing, and she sounded fantastic. As for the dancing, well, it seems that Spears has really stepped up her game in that department as well.”
And the Sacramento Bee praised, “Spears performed like a pro throughout the show, hitting all her marks, she had shown hesitancy in her movements – natural for the first stop on a tour. But that hesitancy vanished when she put on the denim. She seemed at ease.”
Britney will continue her national tour this weekend, and next week her new video for “I Wanna Go” will hit the web on Wednesday.

Selena Gomez has leaked her song “Whiplash,” co-written by Miss Toxic herself, Britney Spears.
As it turns out, the track was originally slated to be included on Brit Brit’s Femme Fatale album, and when it was cut, Gomez swooped in and snatched it up.
“Whiplash” will be featured on Selena’s forthcoming opus When the Sun Goes Down, and she’ll even perform a tribute to Spears on her upcoming tour.
The lyrics are as follows- “Come on and take me to the other side. I’m gonna wait, when I look into your eyes. I’m so in love, I think I’m going to crash into you. Whiplash, whiplash, whiplash.”

A British report is now claiming that Britney Spears is secretly engaged to her boyfriend Jason Trawick.
Despite Spears’ camp repeatedly denying that a wedding is in the works, The Sun has quoted an inside source as saying Brit Brit is a bride-to-be.
The source leaked, “Britney’s desperate to settle down again and have more children. But she is very traditional and didn’t want to start a family with Jason until they’d tied the knot. She’s on cloud nine.”
Furthermore, the blessed occasion is said to be planned for later this year, with a small intimate ceremony in Hawaii.

She was slapped with a lawsuit from a perfume company, and now Britney Spears is fighting back with her own legal action.
According to recent rumors, the “Toxic” songtress has filed a cross-complaint against Brand Sense for delaying her payments for sales of Radiance.
Furthermore, Brit claims that she is owed interest on said delayed payments, given that millions of dollars were involved.
Brand Sense kicked everything off by suing Spears for cutting them out of her deal with Elizabeth Arden.

The “Hold It Against Me” singer flaunted a new hairdo, as her blonde locks got a bit of flare with a red stripe as she and her man wandered the grounds of the Topanga Mall.
As for her upcoming tour efforts, Britney just took to Twitter to tease that the “Femme Fatale” dates will be announced anytime now.

Britney Spears’ filming “I wanna go” video
Britney Spears has started work on the video for her new single ‘I Wanna Go’.
The track will serve as the third cut from her seventh studio album Femme Fatale, which was released back in March.
‘I Wanna Go’s video is directed by Chris Marrs Piliero, who recently worked on Ke$ha’s ‘Blow’ video. Sources have stated that the promo will feature hardly any choreography.
“It’s very personality and action-driven,” they explained. “It’s not really indicative of the song at all.”
Instead of playing with the sexuality in the song, the video will allegedly serve as a retaliation to the media.
“It seems like Britney is hung up on the press, which is ironic because for the most part they seem to be leaving her alone,” the source added.

2011 Billboard Music Awards winners and performers
With another high profile ceremony having come and gone, the winners from the 2011 Billboard Music Awards were announced on Sunday night.
The Ken Jeong hosted event was held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, with Eminem emerging as the big winner upon taking home six trophies including Top Artist.
Other artists enjoying a successful evening included Taylor Swift as Top Billboard 200 Artist, Justin Bieber as Top New Artist (along with a slate of accompanying hardware) and Rihanna as Top Female Artist.
Performers taking the stage during the Billboard Music Awards included Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj, Far East Movement, Mary J Blige and Lil Wayne while Beyonce was feted with the Billboard Millenium Award for her career achievements.

Beverly Hills was the place to be last Thursday as many of Tinseltown’s biggest names turned out at the St. Bernard Project shindig.
The party, themed “An Evening of Southern Style” was hosted by the Spears family at a private residence, and boasted an impressive guest list.
Of course, Britney Spears and her boyfriend Jason Trawick showed up, as did Hilary Duff and her husband Mike Comrie.
Hollywood hotties Selena Gomez, Kelly Osbourne and Victoria Justice all made it out for the affair as well.
In what could have been an awkward situation, Kim Kardashian and her ex-boyfriend Reggie Bush both ended up attending, but everything was reportedly ok.
Additionally, “Breaking Dawn” stud Kellan Lutz and “90210” cutie Shenae Grimes made an appearance.

Britney Spears says Femme Fatale tour will be ‘Spectacular’
Britney Spears is known for delivering an over-the-top stage show, and she promises that her forthcoming Femme Fatale Tour alongside Nicki Minaj will be no different.
In a new video interview posted on her website, the pop princess opens up about her 26-date summer venture, which is set to kick off June 16 in Sacramento and make its way across North America, before concluding August 13 in Toronto.
“The Femme Fatale Tour will hopefully just be outrageously spectacular,” Britney said when asked about the trek. “I’m just hoping that the choreographers will come up with just the most outrageous things, and I’m really excited.”
While it’s been just over a month since the release of Femme Fatale, Brit Brit gushed about the outing, saying, “This is one of the most excited I’ve been about a project in a really long time, so I can’t wait.”
Britney Spears becomes a St. Bernard Project ambassador
Pop star Britney Spears has become the ambassador of the St. Bernard Project which aims to help rebuild homes and lives of Hurricane Katrina survivors.
The 29-year-old wrote on her Twitter page yesterday: ‘It’s time to bring families back home to New Orleans. Join the @Stbernardproj with me & help rebuild lives.’
Next week, the singer will be attending St. Bernard Project’s ‘Southern Style’ event, which features a gourmet dinner created by her dad Jamie.
Britney Spears’ “Femme Fatale” goes Platinum
Britney Spears achieved another benchmark with her current album, Femme Fatale. This week, Britney’ s seventh album – which spawned the No. 1 hit “Hold It Against Me” and the Top 5 smash “Till The World Ends”- has been certified Platinum by the RIAA. This latest news brings Britney’s US albums certifications to the 32 million sales mark.
Congratulations, Brit Brit.
The certification comes as tickets for her all-female “Femme Fatale” Tour with special guest Nicki Minaj, Jessie and the Toy Boys and Nervo went on sale. The tour kicks off on June 16th in Sacramento.
Spears’ impressive reach goes beyond the US as fans worldwide are embracing her latest project. Femme Fatale has also achieved Platinum status in Canada and is Gold-certified in the UK, France, Mexico, Czech Republic, Brazil, Korea & Singapore. The current single, “Till The World Ends” is in the Top 10 on iTunes charts in Canada, Mexico, Australia, France, Spain and Denmark and the song ranks in the Top 20 on radio airplay charts across Europe.

Britney Spears drops official ‘Till The World Ends’ remix with Minaj and Ke$ha
Just days after it was leaked on Friday, Britney Spears and her femme fatales, Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha, dropped their official remix of “Till the World Ends.”
The new version of the song was produced by Dr. Luke and Dream Machine. Brit half-whispers ” ‘Till the World Ends’ remix” before the beat kicks in and Nicki hits her verse hard. She spits fierce lines like, “Sniff, sniff, cries/ I done slayed your whole entire f—ing life.”
Then Britney’s sex-kitten vocals kick in for the song’s first verse. “That’s Britney, bitch! I’m Nicki Minaj and that’s Ke$ha,” the Queens MC declares before K sings the chorus. The beat is harder, the loops are sassier and the song is grimier than the original version, which was the second single from Femme Fatale. The newly added dubstep portion takes the one from “Hold It Against Me” to a new level by adding in bass-heavy synths.
Ke$ha, of course, wrote the track for Britney, and the ladies certainly don’t seem to mind sharing the spotlight with each other. The official track isn’t much different than the version that leaked over the weekend, though Spears did have something brand-new to share with her fans just as the song dropped on iTunes and streamed on her website.
Britney tweeted the artwork for the single, which features the original press photo of Spears along with separate photos of Nicki on the left and Ke$ha on the right. Spears wrote, “@NickiMinaj @Keshasuxx Too much fierceness for one cover! Thanks for lending your voices girls… #TTWEREMIX — Brit”
Junk food banned on Britney Spears’ World Tour
Enforcing that she stays in shape, Britney Spears has banned junk food for everyone on her Femme Fatale shows because it’s too much temptation for her.
Britney has recently had to say no to some of her favorite foods like hot dogs, pizza, and cookie dough ice cream. Even alcohol has been forbidden on the tour, according to the British newspaper The Sun.
Brit is also apparently requiring the presence of humidifiers and a mini-gym at each show. She loos really determined to keep that body!

Britney Spears not engaged, despite spotted wearing a ring on ring finger
The singer’s rep says that despite her wearing a huge rock on that finger, there is no truth to engagement rumors surrounding Britney and Jason Trawick.
“Completely not true,” Spears’ rep tells E! News of any of the latest round of rumors sparked by the pop superstar’s apparently random jewelry.
“It’s not an engagement ring, not a story.”
Sorry, but most people don’t wear random jewelry that big or on that finger. So when Spears did (hanging with Nicki Minaj on Friday), it caught attention.
It’s Britney Spears. Not that there’s anything wrong with it, but people are going to notice, and wonder.
She and Jason have been together quite a long time, and seem so happy together.
