Angelina Jolie honoured at 17th Sarajevo Film Festival
Angelina Jolie was honored with a special tribute and was joined by Brad Pitt at the closing ceremony of the 17th Sarajevo Film Festival on Saturday.
The ceremony was held at the national theatre in downtown Sarajevo. The couple posed at the red carpet before Miss Jolie was presented with the Honorary Heart of Sarajevo award.
Overwhelmed by the reception from the gathered crowd, the “Salt” actress reportedly fought back tears upon getting a non-stop ovation after being introduced by actress Zana Marjanovic.
During her speech, Angelina said, “I’m so happy to be in this remarkable city in this beautiful country and I’ve spent the last year lucky enough to experience not just the warmth and the hospitality of the local people but also your extraordinary talent.”
Continuing on about her experience shooting her directorial debut “In the Land of Blood and Honey” in Bosnia, Angelina stated, “In my career, I have never worked with such disciplined and talented artists as I was able to this last year.”

They have always been going the non-traditional route, but now Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have reportedly decided to get married.
The “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” couple, who have been together for six years and have six kids, are said to be getting married within the next few months, with the ceremony possibly taking place at their newly-renovated Correns, France Chateau Miraval.
An insider said that the wedding “will be intimate and informal,” far from Brad Pitt’s 2000 nuptials with Jennifer Aniston that cost $1 million.
Back in May, Pitt hinted the possibility of a wedding. He said, “The kids ask about marriage. It’s meaning more and more to them.”
Angelina Jolie’s goodwill trip to Turkey
Continuing her humanitarian efforts, Angelina Jolie was spotted arriving at Hatay Airport in Turkey yesterday.
The “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” actress looked to be in good spirits and waved to the media as she disembarked the aircraft.
In fulfillment of her UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador duties, Angie traveled to a Syrian refugee camp in Altinozu to show some love to the displaced people.
Upon her arrival, Jolie was greeted with a banner that read, “Goodness Angel of the World, Welcome.” Looks like they were glad to see her!

They have always been extremely generous with their fortune, and it was recently announced that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt donated $500,000 to the Community Foundation of the Ozarks.
The “Mr and Mrs Smith” co-stars’ contribution supports mid-term and long-term rebuilding efforts in the Joplin, MO area, which was recently devastated by a number of tornadoes and a familiar place to Pitt.
“With the devastating loss of thirty percent of the city, the Joplin community faces great challenges ahead,” Brad told local news station KSPR. “Having spent much of my childhood there, I know these people to be hardworking, humble and especially resilient.”
Jolie added, “Our hearts go out to the families in Joplin who have lost so much.”

Angelina Jolie visits Afghan refugees
Angelina Jolie recently journeyed to Afghanistan to visit with war refugees. Jolie is an official goodwill ambassador for the UNHCR, the United Nations High Commissioner For Refugees.
After taking stock of the current conditions of refugees in Afghanistan, Jolie said in an official statement from the UNHCR, “The focus needs to be put now on reintegration and that means not just putting up shelter but making sure there is water, job opportunities, a school for the children and medical clinics.”
This was Jolie’s second trip visiting refugees in Afghanistan.
Brad Pitt wears new diamond pendant designed by Angelina
Brad Pitt arrived at L.A.X. Saturday, and we noticed immediately that he is wearing the pendant Angelina Jolie personally designed for him.
Angelina, who is launching a line called The Style of Jolie with her close friend, London jeweler Robert Procop, created the special pendant with a secret message for her mate.
“The hidden message is lasered on,” Procop revealed.
The pendant contains diamonds and the design is based on ancient Egyptian amulets meant to bring good luck to the person wearing it.
Brad Pitt’s parents to move in with him and Jolie
Hollywood lovebirds Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will be joined by the actor’s parents when they move into their villa in the South of France.
The superstar couple are adding another wing to their USD 50 million chateau and Pitt’s parents will move in from Springfield, Missouri, to help look after the couple’s six children, reported Daily Mail online.
“The whole family is going to move there as soon as the renovations are done. At the moment they have six nannies, one for each of the kids, and the plan is to get rid of the helpers and rely on Bill and Jane,” said a source.
Pitt flew into France to oversee the construction of the annexe which will house his parents.
Jennifer Aniston doesn’t hate Angelina Jolie
Jennifer Aniston doesn’t hate her ex-husband Brad Pitt’s current love Angelina Jolie. The former “Friends” star insists that she has moved on so there’s no animosity left for them.
Aniston recently told daytime TV host Ellen DeGeneres on her show about her run in with gossip blogger Perez Hilton in August, though she did not elaborate what they have talked about.
Now, Hilton, a vocal pro-Jolie advocate, reveals to Life & Style magazine the details of their conversation.
He asked the actress point-blank if she hates the “Salt” star, and rather than give a simple yes or no answer, she said, “Look, that was so long ago, and we’ve moved on and we’re adults.”
Her answer appears to be a little evasive, but Hilton says she seemed sincere, adding to the magazine, “I believe what she has to say. I think she really has moved on.”
And about Pitt, Aniston says she still talks to her ex-husband and “everything’s fine.”
However, while the 41-year-old actress may have moved on, the same cannot be said for some of her friends.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt want to adopt orphaned Haitian child
Are Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt going to adopt a Haitian child? The idea has been out there for quite some time that the Jolie-Pitt family would continue expanding past their current 6 children. However, the plans are starting to sound more serious.
Today, reports that both Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt met a young girl in a Haitian orphanage who lost her family in the earthquake. They hope to be able to adopt the 4-year-old soon to add another sister for Maddox, Knox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh and Vivienne. That would be amazing.
The earthquake in Haiti was so devastating to the region, and it would be great for the little girl to gain a new family after losing hers in the tragedy. The two movie stars seem to have big hearts, a big house, plenty of money and a large family. Adding another child to the mix seems like it would be a reasonable part of their plan.
If this plan for Jolie and Pitt to adopt a Haitian child is true, hopefully it will happen soon. The little girl could start getting to know her pack of brothers and sisters.
