Mariah & Nick’s twin names: Monroe & Moroccan Cannon

They’re thrilled at the arrival of their twin boy and girl, and Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have finally announced the little ones’ names.

The “Touch My Body” songstress and her handsome hubby chose Moroccan Scott Cannon for their son, drawing the middle name from Nick and his grandmother’s maiden name.

As for their daughter, Mariah and Nick went with Monroe Cannon (after Marilyn Monroe), leaving out the middle name because Carey is also without middle name.

Carey’s rep told press, “It has been a long emotional journey for this family, and I couldn’t be happier for all of them.”

Mariah Carey gives birth to twins

Double joy for singer Mariah Carey, 41, and her husband Nick Cannon, 30: The US entertainer gave birth to twins – a boy and a girl.

E!Online confirmed today that Carey gave birth on Saturday morning in Los Angeles.

The babies arrived on the third wedding anniversary of their parents, an event that Cannon called “the best anniversary gift of all times.”

“My wife just gave me the most incredible anniversary gift ever in life!,” the new dad tweeted soon after the birth. “I won’t ever be able to top this!”

Cannon, 30, and Carey aren’t the only ones excited about their double joy.

The babies are only a day old, but already they getting major love from some of the biggest names in the business.
